Home care

The council provides home care to eligible people in their own homes. This service may be provided by council staff or by approved service providers.

Like all social policy services, home care is provided only after a full assessment of the person has taken place. After the assessment, the social policy practice team may be able to suggest a different service or solution than the one first requested.

For more detailed information, please use the links to the left.

For more information on the assessment process, please contact one of the council's social work centres;
