West Lothian Council is alerting drivers to temporary road closures for essential work in Whitburn, Bathgate and Livingston.
West Lothian Council is alerting drivers to temporary road closures for essential work in Whitburn, Bathgate and Livingston.
Whitburn (nine weeks): 8am, Monday 30 January to 5pm, Saturday 31 March - Dixon Terrace, Whitburn from the junction with Burnhouse Industrial Estate - to allow the installation of a new sewer system. A diversion will be in place via Longridge Road, Manse road, West Main Street and Polkemmet Road. Pedestrians are not affected.
Bathgate (one week): Sunday 26 February to Sunday 4 March - North Bridge Street Bathgate from Junction with South Bridge Street to junction with Mansefield Street - to allow the installation of traffic calming measures. A diversion will be in place via Hopetoun Street, Marjoribanks Street, Academy Street, King Street and South Bridge Street. Pedestrians are not affected.
Livingston (one week): 6pm, Friday 2 March to 6pm, Friday 9 March - Deans Road Livingston between Royston Roundabout and the junction with Caputhall Road - to allow essential bridge repairs and resurfacing works by Bear Scotland as part of the M8 improvements. A diversion will be in place via the A89, Boghall Roundabout, the A779 (Starlaw Road), Tailend Roundabout and Deans Road. Pedestrians are not affected.
