West Lothian Council delivers

 

A programme of short performances from local dance groups and singing from Toccata Ladies Choir will take place in the auditorium.  Elsewhere in the building Livingston Camera Club and Livingston Art Association will be offering tutorials and showing their work.  As well as activities to try around the building, there will be stalls from voluntary arts groups from all over West Lothian, learn about their work and sign-up to try a new hobby.  A special celebration menu will be available from our bistro. Join us at 2.30pm for a the official cake cutting and a slice. 


Public Art Walking Tour of Livingston
Sunday 15 April, 11am-1pm, Free event

Celebrate Livingston's 50th with a guided walking exploration of 10 pieces of its Public Art.
Starting at Howden Park Centre, meet in the Foyer at 11am on Sunday 15 of April , collect your free map of the trail and start off with a guide who will take you around a loop walk to end back at Howden Park Centre for 1pm.
Participants are asked to wear appropriate walking shoes and weather proof clothing.  Please bring a bottle of drinking water if you wish.  The walk is easy with a majority of the sites on footpaths.

Fiddle Rally with Livingston Fiddlers
Livingston Fiddlers will be joined by their friends from near and far in this celebratory concert.  With forty musicians on stage your toes will tap to a sprightly mix of reels, jigs and strathspeys.  There will also be solo artists, some lively accordion tunes and a familiar song or two.

Livingston's 50th Anniversary Tea Dance
A special Tea Dance celebrating Livingston?s 50th Anniversary.  Join us for tea, music dancing and of course, birthday cake.
