Licences - storage of petroleum
Trading Standards are responsible for the enforcement of the Petroleum (Consolidation) Act 1928 which requires anyone who keeps more than a very small amount of petrol to obtain a licence, and comply with the conditions it imposes.
The current fees are listed below:
- Licence up to 2500 litres: £42
- Licence up to 50,000 litres: £58
- Licence exceeding 50,000 litres: £120
- Transfer of Licence: £8
