How, as a shop keeper, should I store fireworks?

All shopkeepers who store fireworks must register with Trading Standards. Trading Standards will advise you of the current registration fee and the detailed requirements for safe storage.

When can fireworks be let off?

Regulations mean that it is illegal to let off fireworks between 11pm and 7am. However, on Bonfire Night of 5th November, an extra hour is allowed and the use of fireworks must stop at midnight. On Hogmanay, Chinese New Year and Diwali the curfew is extended to 01:00 hours.
