If you want to Register a Birth, Death, Still Birth or Marriage
West Lothian is served by two main Registration offices where no appointments are necessary
These are:

We also have four sub offices in Broxburn, Linlithgow, West Calder and Whitburn where appointments are necessary by telephoning 01506 281894
Livingston and Bathgate offices may be closed from 9am to 10.30am on the last Wednesday of the month.
Both the Livingston and Bathgate offices are authorised to conduct Marriage Ceremonies, Civil Partnership Registrations, Naming Ceremonies, Renewal of Vow Ceremonies and British Citizenship Ceremonies within the office. Ceremonies can alo be preformed by Registrars at approved venues within West Lothian.
Limited Registration Services can also be delivered at
