Councillor Martyn Day

Councillor Day (SNP) is the Executive Portfolio Holder for Development and Transport and the Chairperson for the Local Area Committee and the Development and Scrutiny Panel.

He is also a member of the Audit Committee, Licensing Committee, Appeals Committee, Avoidance of Disputes Committee, Education Executive Committee, Development and Transport Committee and the Joint Consultative Group.

A number of his council appointments to outside bodies include the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities (COSLA), Linlithgow parish trust, Visit Scotland Edinburgh and Lothians area tourism partnership, Edinburgh Airport executive committee, Edinburgh film focus, National society for clean air and environment protection, West Lothian Disability Access Forum and the regional transport and partnership board.
