Central Livingston School Consultation
West Lothian Council Education Executive decided on 9 October 2012 to commence a statutory consultation on a proposal to re-align the existing school catchment boundaries for both Buchanan House and the New Calder Paper mills development sites.
No decision or change would come into effect until the full consultation has taken place with parents/carers, pupils, staff and other interested parties as required by the Schools (consultation) (Scotland) Act 2010.
Consultation period is from Monday 29th October 2012 to Monday 10 December 2012 with two pubic meetings;
- Livingston Village Primary School on Monday 12 November at 7pm
- Mid Calder Primary School on Thursday 15 November at 7pm

Public Consultation on a proposal to change the non-denominational school catchment areas that cross the Brucefield housing development
The consultation finished on 22 December 2011. The outcome report on the consultation was published on 27 February 2012 and will be considered by the Education Executive on 20 March 2012. A submission from West Calder High School was received after the completion of the consultation. The submission is below and will be considered along with the report.
