Tough choices ahead for West Lothian

The final Policy Development and Scrutiny Panel was held on Thursday 11 November.  No decisions will be made until early in the New Year.

On this page you will find the detailed information about the council's officer-led proposals to make £45 million in savings. There are nine sections and an introduction.  Follow the links below:

Policy Development and Scrutiny Panels (PDSPs)

PDSPs represent each of the council's main areas such as the environment, education, health and care, social policy and services for the community.  These are small groups of councillors who develop new policies for the council, or review existing policies to see if changes are needed.  PDSPs make recommendations to the Council or Education Executive where decisions, which are binding on the council, are made.
