Policy Development and Scrutiny Panels (PDSPs)
PDSPs represent each of the council's main areas such as the environment, education, health and care, social policy and services for the community. These are small groups of councillors who develop new policies for the council, or review existing policies to see if changes are needed. PDSPs make recommendations to the Council or Education Executive where decisions, which are binding on the council, are made.
