Advice Shop
The Advice Shop is a free, confidential service open to anyone who lives in West Lothian. We provide advice and assistance on a variety of matters. We can help you with benefits issues such as checking your entitlement, help making claims, appealing unfair decisions and representation at tribunal. The Advice Shop also offers a money advice service to help you deal with debts, energy advisors to assist with gas and electricity queries and assistance with housing problems including homelessness, rent arrears and landlord disputes. Our trained advisors are available to speak to daily from Monday to Friday in the Bathgate Partnership Centre - no appointment necessary. The Advice Shop also holds regular sessions and roadshows in towns across West Lothian so look out for us in a location near you.

- Help to access grants for property insulation and heating
- Assistance with billing issues
- Assistance to deal with rent arrears
- Advice to help you resolve landlord disputes
- Representation at court if you are in danger of losing your home
