It is estimated that the turbines will be in full spin by the end of October.

Business is better from Bathgate

Grow Wild have found business in Glasgow easier to come by since moving out to West Lothian from Edinburgh What's in an address?

Plenty as far as a West Lothian business is concerned.

For since organic produce delivery company Grow Wild moved out to Whiteside Industrial Estate, Bathgate, they have found it much easier to do business in Glasgow.

At their previous Edinburgh base, Grow Wild discovered that people in Glasgow weren't quite so keen on doing business with a company from the Capital.

Now Grow Wild have taken on six new local recruits in the last three years. And they're also looking to source more organic produce locally too.

Director Lindsay Girvan started theĀ  business when she was pregnant and couldn't find any organic food. So she decided to source her own and started supplying a few friends. "At first I was just part time," said Lindsay, "but the business quickly took off."

Lindsay, who once spent two months in the Borneo jungle, praised the help she received from business gateway in West Lothian. "I was highly impressed with them," she added. "They spent a lot of time with me and put me in touch with e-commerce website people."

Eighty per cent of Grow Wild's business is supplying business to households, with the other twenty per cent mainly to wholesale shops and restaurants.
