Services
Library and Heritage Services
West Lothian has 14 community libraries (new window), providing a variety of services with something for everyone. We also have two mobile libraries which will visit outlying areas of West Lothian. Click here to view or download the leaflet which explains what's available at your local library.
Join the library online
You can now join the library online. Click HERE to begin your membership application. You will still need to visit the library to provide your proof of identification and collect your ticket.
Register on the site (new window) with your library barcode and PIN (usually the last 4 digits of your phone number) and then logon and start searching. You can borrow or reserve up to three eBooks at a time and download them to a variety of eBook readers, IPhones, IPads and Android devices, including the Kindle Fire.
If you have used our eBook site, then please let us know what you think by completing this short, anonymous survey. It should take about five minutes to complete. Click HERE (new window) to enter survey.
