Howden Park Centre

Howden Park Centre in Livingston has a range of different spaces available for hire, for arts, business, conference, community and social events. These include the first floor meeting room giving panoramic views over the park, three very different multi-function spaces and new 296 seat auditorium. The venue also benefits from it's own bar and bistro to accommodate every occasion.

Re-opened in 2009 after extensive re-development work the venue has recently won accolades from Edinburgh Architectural Association- 'Building of the Year 2010' and Scottish Tourist Board - 4 star visitor attraction.

The Regal Community Theatre

The Regal Community Theatre in Bathgate aims to cater for all sorts of groups doing all sorts of activities.   It has various multi-purpose spaces for hire at competitive rates for arts, conferences and seminars and social functions.   Fees range from £10 - £40 an hour.

Hire of Halls, Pavilions, Primary Schools etc

Halls, pavilions, primary schools and other premises administered by Education Services are available for hire.   The Letting Regulations, together with the scale of charges and Application Form can be found under 'Online Tools' on the right. 

Organisations or groups working with children under the age of 18 must ensure that the youth group has a commitment to Child Protection.   All adults working with children and young people - whether in a paid or unpaid capacity, must ensure that certain controls and procedures are in place.   The Generic Code of Practice and Standards of Behaviour for Adult Leaders working with young people under 18 years of age, together with an Application Form for Non-Council Youth Group (Form FYouthlet1) are also attached to the Letting Regulations under 'Online Tools' on the right.
