The Scottish Government has produced a revised leaflet for those who have served in the armed forces. This aims to help those who have served in the armed forces understand their housing options, answer some of the questions they might have and direct them to further information and sources of advice and assistance.
It now also includes additional information on both finding and keeping a home as well as some additional sources of advice.

West Lothian Council have recently launched a portal called West Lothian Local Pad which allows customers looking for Private lets to go online and search for properties available in West Lothian. All the Landlords and Letting Agents on the Portal are Registered Landlords.
