Planned Maintenance Repairs and Improvement
These are the major works that have been identified as needed for a number of council houses in your area. This is primarily to meet the Scottish Housing Quality Standard (SHQS) set out by the Scottish Government. Surveys are being carried out on council houses to identify what work requires to be carried out to meet the standard set. This includes:
- Kitchen and bathroom replacement
- Installation of new doors and windows
- Central heating
- Electrical wiring
- Roughcasting
- Roofing
