Library and Heritage Services

West Lothian has 14 community libraries (new window) and a shared Reference library at West Lothian College, providing a variety of services with something for everyone. We also have two mobile libraries which will visit outlying areas of West Lothian. Click here to view or download the leaflet that explains what's available at your local library.

Ask Scotland (new window) is an online information service provided by Scotland's public libraries that lets you get real answers from real people. You can email a question using the online form (new window), or chat (new window) with a librarian using our instant messaging service, which is available 9am -5pm, Monday to Friday.
