Consultations on education

Consultations are held with pupils, parents and teachers at school level and at authority level. Regular meetings take place between senior managers and groups of pupils and parent representatives. In addition surveys are issued to parents and pupils.

Schools also have regular meetings with parents and issue surveys. Every school has a pupil council which allows consultation with pupils. When policies change or are developed consultation takes place. The results of consultations are presented to senior managers and elected members and form an important part of the policy development process.
