Road Safety - Pedestrians and Cars
West Lothian Council carries out a range of initiatives in its Road Safety Plan for improving safety for pedestrians and car users. These initiatives include:
- Accident Investigation and Prevention (AIP) Programme
- Road Safety Audits
- Setting Speed Limits
- Traffic calming and speed management
- Pedestrian crossing facilities
- School Crossing Patrols
Most of these initiatives are managed by the Road Safety and Traffic Management Team within Transportation Services at County Buildings, Linlithgow.
