Transport - service changes
Bus service changes in West Lothian
New and improved bus services are set to take to the road in West Lothian.
The bus service changes will be introduced on Monday 29 September.
All the new local services will be operated by easy access, low floor buses.
Bus service changes:
A1: Armadale Town Service New half-hourly Monday to Friday service operated by E & M Horsburgh. The route includes North Street, Shaw Avenue, Mill Road, South Street, Lower Bathville, Gracie's Wynd, St Paul's Drive and Church Place.
B1: Broxburn Town Service Timetable and route remain as at present, but the service will be operated jointly by First and E & M Horsburgh.
W1: Whitburn Wanderer The Monday to Friday timetable remains as at present, but new Saturday morning journeys have been added. The improved service will be operated by E & M Horsburgh.
Service 6: Fauldhouse to South Queensferry The existing First service will end at Broxburn, and will no longer serve Winchburgh and South Queensferry. Service 557 (below) replaces the missing links.
Service 403: Bathgate Town Circular More Monday to Saturday journeys to be provided by E & M Horsburgh, in addition to the existing First service, will double the frequency to half hourly.
Service 411: Livingston Bus Station to Deans via St John's Hospital and Carmondean Centre New hourly Monday to Friday service to be provided by E & M Horsburgh will link Livingston Bus Station with St John's Hospital, Livingston Village, Carmondean Centre and Deans.
Service 431: Linlithgow to Livingston via Uphall Timetable and route will remain as at present, but all journeys will now be operated by Passenger Travel.
Service 461: Oakbank Business Park to Broxburn via Mid Calder and Pumpherston. New Monday to Friday peak period service operated by E & M Horsburgh.
Service 557: Loganlea to South Queensferry The existing E & M Horsburgh Monday to Friday service between West Calder and Winchburgh will extend to Loganlea in the west, and to Kirkliston and South Queensferry in the east, with revised timings.
Service 558: Livingston Murieston to Livingston Carmondean The existing E & M Horsburgh Monday to Friday service will be withdrawn.
