The sun was shining for the first spring clean-up on Sunday 1 April at West Lothian Civic Centre Howden South Road Livingston. West Lothian residents are being asked to 'love West Lothian' and help to look after the environment.

Join in West Lothian's Spring Clean-up Campaign 2012

West Lothian residents are being encouraged to spring into action and join a local spring clean event to support the national Keep Scotland Beautiful spring clean which runs from 1 April to 31 May.

West Lothian Council's Environmental Wardens, community planning partners and community groups will are participating and everyone is welcome to join in the community clean up.  All the equipment that is needed will be provided.  Community groups, volunteers, individuals and families, are being invited to set up or join in the Spring Clean campaign in their local area - full support and equipment will be provided.  All children must be accompanied by an adult.

It is easy to get involved for a few hours, a morning or an afternoon. To start a group or find out about a local group contact: James McGladrigan on 01506 775187 or email james.mcgladrigan@westlothian.gov.uk.
